WATERING & FERTILIZING:
Keep soil fairly dry. Drench soil thoroughly and allow it to become moderately dry before watering again. Do not allow plant to sit in water. Over watering can cause blackened leaves and dead leaf tips, which should be removed. You may feed bi-monthly with a very diluted liquid fertilizer.
LIGHT CONDITIONS/GROWING AREAS:
Prefers bright light location, but can be maintained for many weeks in lower light. Too much low light causes cupped foliage that is pale between the veins.
OPTIMUM SOIL CONDITIONS:
Grow in loose, fibrous potting mix.
PEST CONTROL:
Possible pests are mealybugs and red spider mites.
CLIMATE/PLANTING CONDITIONS:
Warm - Prefers 70-75º days and 65-70º nights.
