WATERING & FERTILIZING:
Check the soil of a new Golden Pothos every few days for watering until you become familiar with the plants needs. When the surface soil has dried about 1/2" down it's time to water. Usually once a week. Water thoroughly all the way around the plant until water runs from the drainage holes. Excess water should be removed to help prevent root rot. The long vines that grow from the plant can be cut and grown in plain water. Do not allow plant to sit in water.You may fertilize bi-monthly with a very diluted indoor plant food.
LIGHT CONDITIONS/GROWING AREAS:
Pothos can be grown virtually anywhere. They will not tolerate total darkness or full sun, anything in between is fine. If indoors, best kept in bright to medium window light. If outdoors on a shaded patio.
OPTIMUM SOIL CONDITIONS:
Grow in loose, fibrous potting mix.
PEST CONTROL:
Pothos are resistant to pests.
CLIMATE/PLANTING CONDITIONS:
Warm - Prefers 70-75º days and 65-70º nights.
